Education

Poverty is the key reason for children not attending school. Education provides a child with the tools to fight poverty and attain their full potential while contributing to the prosperity and stability of their families. Public schools in the developing world are not entirely free. Students have to bear the cost of books, uniforms and administration costs. Secondary schools have higher fees and are usually far from home requiring transportation, which is just not affordable for poor families. This results in youth dropping out and not being able to finish their education.
